The visual textures in this publication emergedfrom an ongoing, serial documentation of mousemovements. These recorded mouse gesturesfunction like a form of writing that cannot be“read” in the conventional sense: an asemicscript without fixed meaning. Within it, subtle,subliminal layers are embedded—subtonal stratathat are not immediately visible but contribute tothe image as an underlying structure and mood.It is therfore no coincidence that these texturesresemble the flight of flies or sparrows.
